October, 2016

The Montgomery County Community Foundation Advisory Board recently informed the Montgomery County Family YMCA that the YMCA’s grant submission will be awarded grant funding in the amount of $5,000 which will be presented to the YMCA on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at the Montgomery County Court House with other county agencies earning grants as well.

This grant will assist the Montgomery County Family YMCA to better serve our 2,500 members of all ages, backgrounds, and communities within Montgomery County. The funds will be used for a NuStep T5xr Recumbent Cross Trainer. The NuStep T5xr Recumbent Cross Trainer is designed to offer the life transforming benefits of exercise to users of virtually any age, size fitness level, or health condition. It is the ultimate machine for safe, effective, and adaptive exercise. The Montgomery County Family YMCA has an obligation to meet the needs of all our members.
