Mediacom of Red Oak, Iowa made a significant donation to the Montgomery County Family YMCA with the donation of four flat-screen high definition television sets. Three of the televisions are mounted in the YMCA’s fitness/ wellness center for YMCA members and guest to enjoy when working out on cardio wellness, circuit training and Olympic free weights in the center.

The four set has been installed in the YMCA’s swimming pool viewing area. This room is used a lot by young children, teens adults that are wishing to visit with other friends, family members along with watching swimming activities.

YMCA Executive Director Nick Zimmer, expressed the YMCA’s “deepest gratitude and appreciation for such a meaningful gift to the YMCA”.

Lisa Glasgo, Mediacom Manager of the Red Oak, Iowa office highlighted “these gifts will create some new excitement for the YMCA members and guest as we approach the busy season for the YMCA in mid fall to late spring as well as simply shows the community and area the commitment that Mediacom has to be a helping cooperate business to give back to the community, service area and area residents that Mediacom proudly services.”
Glasgo felt the” YMCA’s impact on people of all ages in so many different programs was a great “fit” for what Mediacom does every day to offer quality service to our customer’s as well.”
