More Restrictions Lifted at the Y

by Kristi Potts on 03/01/21

After discussion with the management staff, visiting with the YMCA Board of Directors, and Montgomery County Public Health, the Montgomery County Family YMCA will be lifting restrictions currently in place regarding the time limit and the limit on the number of people using various parts of the facility effective Monday, March 1. This means no longer will reservations be required for the health/wellness area, pool (lap & recreational sides), and the fitness classes. The whirlpool will still have a limit of 2 people unless from the same family.
• Members and guests will still be asked to review the symptom checklist before entering the facility.
• Masks will still be required within the facility of all staff and of the members or guests until they reach their exercise destination.
• We will ask that people maintain social distancing while in the facility.
• The disinfection of equipment after use is highly encouraged.
