Camp Foster Winners!

by Kristi Potts on 05/12/15

The Montgomery County Family YMCA is proud to announce that Elizabeth Stewart, 6th grade, daughter of Jonathan & Anne Stewart, Bradley Meyers, 8th grade, son of Tracy Bozwell, and Ethan Stewart, 8th grade, son of Jonathan & Anne Stewart, all of Red Oak, are the winners of the free week of camp at the Camp Foster YMCA of the Okoboji’s in Spirit Lake. The children each had to write a paragraph about why they wanted to go to camp to enter a drawing to win the trip. Also, they will be required to write a thank you letter to the donors that made this program possible.

The campers will attend the Camp Session # 9.

The winners will enjoy a great week of food, lodging, fun, fellowship, and learn the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and fairness. A special thank you for our wonderful partnership with Camp Foster of the Okoboji’s in Spirt Lake, IA. For more details about camp and scholarship opportunities, please contact Nick Zimmer, Montgomery County Family YMCA Executive Director at 712-623-2161 ext. #13
