Farm Credit Services of America recently held a state-wide appraisers conference hosted at the Farm Credit Services of America office in Red Oak and at the Red Coach Inn & Restaurant for their state and area Appraisers conference Wednesday, April 27th – Friday, April 29th, 2016. Since part of their conference time is used to give back to the host community and finding an organization to volunteer with, FCSA volunteered at the Montgomery County Family YMCA for a day of service of yard care, mulching the property and Legion Park area where the YMCA is located, and picking up trash, branches, etc. on Thursday, April 28th.
“Farm
Credit Services of America believes strongly in local community
involvement. The Iowa Appraisal Team’s
statewide meeting held in Red Oak provided us a great opportunity to volunteer
at the local YMCA. It’s an amazing
facility and we were excited for the chance to make a difference!” Said Kristen Blum, Real Estate & Chattel
Appraiser of Farm Credit Services of America and project coordinator of the
clean-up project.
picking up leaves is Kevin Flaherty (Storm Lake, IA).
They also generously donated $1,000 to assist in the YMCA’s youth program, tennis facility enhancement project, and annual campaign which makes financial assistance available for children and families who otherwise could not afford to participate in YMCA membership and programs.
