Don’t miss out on a fun day of giving back and sharing pride in our YMCA and community by helping with our 1st Annual Spring Cleaning Saturday on April 18th, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the YMCA. All volunteers will be treated to a free lunch at Noon. Work might go into early afternoon depending on volunteers assisting with the day.
Volunteers are asked to wear yard clothes, gloves, and hats. Also, bring any of the listed items: push mower or even a riding mower with a bagger, outside push broom, gas trimmers, extra extension cords, extra water hoses with spray controller, or tree branch cutters. We just want to continue to keep our YMCA, Legion Park area, and community as beautiful as possible.
This would be a great opportunity for a family, youth, adults, couples, retirees, church groups, and scouting organizations to be involved in giving back to the Montgomery County Family YMCA. All are welcome at any time, all help is greatly appreciated!
Volunteering is one of the essential ways the Y engages people to bring about meaningful change in building our community. Volunteering is something that EVERYONE can do!
Please RSVP by Tuesday, April 13th, 2015 to Nick Zimmer, Executive Director at 712-623-2161 ext. 13, by e-mail at execdir@mcymca.com, visit the YMCA’s website at www.mcymca.com, visit the YMCA’s Facebook page, or visit the facility at 101 E. Cherry St. in Red Oak.
