Winner of Mother’s Day Raffle

The Montgomery County Family YMCA and Shear Design recently teamed up for a raffle to win a $50 Makeover for Mom.  The winner, Vicki Updegrove of Red Oak, will be able to choose from a wide array of services such as manicures, pedicures, waxing and more.  The drawing took place on Friday, May 10th, 2013 at 5 p.m.

The raffle was in honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12th, 2013.  The Montgomery County Family YMCA would like to thank all the participants of the drawing and Shear Design for so generously donating the $50 Makeover.

Vicki was excited to hear her name had been selected. “Oh really?!”, she said. “I’m getting my hair done tomorrow!”  John Blomstedt, Program Operations Manager, drew the slip of paper bearing her name and Atheena Guy, Customer Service Representative, made the phone call to let her know she had won.
