LIFEGUARD SWIM TEST
Passing this test is required to gain certification
- Swim 12 laps (Breaststroke and Freestyle)
- Tread water for 2 minutes with no hands
- Retrieve a 10lb brick from the deep end and swim it back to the shallow end.

WHAT: Red Cross Lifeguard Certification - Blended Learning
Details: Lifeguard Training is coming up at the YMCA. Get a 2-year Lifeguard Certification and be rescue-ready to work at our great area pools this summer! This is a blended learning course - both online and in-person coursework will be required. Must pass a swim test for participation.
Who: Age 15+
Where: Wilson Aquatics Center @ The Montgomery County Family YMCA
When: CLASSES ON HOLD
*MUST finish online course work before attending, and attend both days to be able to become certified.

WHAT: Red Cross Lifeguard Re-Certification - Blended Learning
Details: Re-new your Red Cross Lifeguard Certification for another two years! This is a blended learning course - both online and in-person coursework will be required. Must pass a swim test for participation.
