Monday,
March 2nd, 2015 is the Annual Nebraska Tax Sale Day. This year the YMCA will be
working in Papillion and in Lincoln, NE.
The Y is looking for volunteers to help raise money for the 2015 Annual
Campaign. This program assists youth and
adults who want to become members of the Y or want to participate in a Y
program, but feel they cannot because of financial limitations.
PAPILLION: Volunteers
are asked to meet in the YMCA’s Lobby at 6:15 a.m. and will leave at 6:30
a.m. We report to the Sarpy County
Administrative Building in Papillion, Nebraska at 7:30 a.m. to check in. The
event runs from 8:30 a.m. – Noon and we will arrive back at the YMCA at around
2:00 p.m. We need 10 volunteers for
Papillion’s sale. Lunch is provided.
LINCOLN: Volunteers are asked to meet in the YMCA’s Lobby at 5:15 a.m. and leave 5:40 a.m. We will work the sale at a location in Lincoln, NE to be announced closer to the sale date. We need 20 volunteers for Lincoln. We should arrive back at the YMCA around 4:30 p.m. Lunch is provided.
Transportation for both locations will be coordinated and a free lunch will be provided at both locations.
Volunteers
need to be 18 years of age or older.
