Good Friday Breakfast

Montgomery County Family YMCA Press Release (Red Oak, Iowa) YMCA News for Immediate Release
The Montgomery County Family YMCA in partnership with the Montgomery County Family YMCA Men’s Thursday Bible Study Group and the Montgomery County Ministerial Fellowship held their 4th Annual Good Friday Breakfast on Friday, March 25th, 2016 Pastor Will Brown from First Christian Church of Red Oak, Iowa was the featured speaker with an uplifting message titled “Is it really finished?”. Vern Olson performed some outstanding musical numbers as attendees enjoyed a breakfast buffet provided by Hy-Vee and served by YMCA Auxiliary Club members.

The invocation for the breakfast was given by Pastor Alan Dean, First Covenant Church of Red Oak, Iowa; the closing prayer was given by Rev. Lori Lathrop of Red Oak Church of the Nazarene of Red Oak, Iowa; and Steve Colerick of Emerson, Iowa served as the master of ceremonies for the event. Colerick is a member of the YMCA Thursday Men’s Early Bible Study Group and also a committee member with the National Day of Prayer Event in Red Oak that will take place on Thursday, May 5th, 2016 at the Red Coach Inn & Restaurant in Red Oak, Iowa.
